Revision Advice READ THIS FIRST
The exam is a 1 and a half hour long written paper (NOT multi-choice)
It is worth 40% of Unit 2 (the Full course).

Pre-release Scenario: Travel-m8 (Word Doc)
Official Pre-release Scenario: Exotic Holidays (pdf)
Key points:

Research Brief
The idea is you do research homework (pdf) on ICT software solutions used in the Travel Industry (make sure you understand what Travel-m8 actually do) and then go into the exam with your notes (hopefully all the answers) to get you full marks!!!

You are allowed to take in to the exam 4 sheets of A4 full to the brim with notes, provided from your homework research project.

You get zero marks for your answers unless you relate it to the Travel-m8 scenario. Eg If asked 'Describe how the travel company might use a computer keyboard' You get NOTHING for saying 'For Typing'. The examiner expects you to say 'They may use it to type letters to customers'. This issue has led to some good students doing badly in this exam in the past.

Never refer to software products by name. Eg asked 'What type of software would the staff use to type a letter? Don't answer 'Microsoft Word' it's the wrong answer. They will allow 'The admin staff would use Word Processing Software'.
